ugly house? nice house!

Yesterday, we went to see some townhouses which are built by the builder I go with. I checked their homepages and knew that they were supporsed to have similar buildings even in the different community. I thought I was going to ask about the site at their sales office, but they were closed. We couldn't find anything like ours. Only a couple buildings are townhouses, others are obviously different from ours. However, those buildings looked ugly, we didn't like it. I got anxious. I would pay a lot of money and we would have that type of house? Today, we went back to our sales office and ask about this thing to my sales consultant. He told me that they(the community I went) haven't built those townhouses yet, I didn't need to worry about it, I would have the house looks like the sketch. Oh yeah, it sure is. Now I feel OK, but buying a house without looking the real building is sometimes very risky.

きのう、私達のタウンハウスを建てるビルダーが作ったコミュニティにあるタウンハウスを見に行ってみた。ビルダーのホームページをチェックして、そのコミュニティには、私達のタウンハウスに似た建物があるはずだった。そこのセールス・オフィスで聞こうと思っていたのだが、お休み。私達は似ている建物が見つけられなかった。ほんのいくつか、それかもというのがあったが、後は全く違っていた。で、それかもという建物は全然可愛くない。私も娘もその建物は気に入らず、不安になった。こんなにたくさんのお金を払って、この家なわけ？と。で、今日は私達のセールス・オフィスを再び訪れ、そのことを私の担当のセールスマンに聞いてみた。彼いわく、そのコミュニティでは、まだ私達のと同じ様な間取りになる建物は建て始めていないこと、だから心配する必要なんてないこと、スケッチとほとんど同じ様な建物が建つことを説明してくれた。それもそうだ。全くである。不安が吹き飛んで、ほっと気分が良くなった。それにしても、実際の建物を見ないで、家を買うということは、時として、とてもリスキーなことだ。
