Christmas open house, cookie training

Today, we were invited a Open House for Christmas at our friends' place. Some people had already been there when we got there. I am not good at making a small talk at party or those situation. However, I have to get used to it. I met 4 new people this time. I talked with them about foods, everyday life, experiences, or something. Anyway, they were all nice people, I could make some good conversation with them and I had a very good time. After getting home, we made some chocolate chip cookies again. And finally, we made it. Inside of the cookies are soft and chewy, then outside are a little crunchy. I am so glad and proud of my cookies.

今日は、友人宅のクリスマス・オープン・ハウスに招待され、行って来た。私達が着いた時には、既に何人かの人が来ていた。どうも私はそういうパーティなどの場面でのスモール・トークというのが苦手なのだが、そんなことばかりも言っていられないので、少しは慣れていかないと。今回は4人の初めての人と話をした。食べ物のことや、日常生活のこと、色んな体験談などである。とにかく、みんないい人達だったので、楽しく会話ができたし、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができた。家に帰って、またまたチョコレートチップ・クッキー作り。そして遂に！完成である。クッキーの内部は柔らかくて、チューイー（コシがある）、外側は少しだけカリッとしている。これは嬉しい、大満足である。
