There are 3 kinds of medications for treatment of hyperthyroid. I had been taking one of these until I left Japan. Last time I saw the doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital, I told her about the side-effect from the medicine. It was mild, not very serious because the dosage was reduced. However, my doctor wanted me to try changing the medicine. And I said OK. The side effects are rash and itching skin. Now I feel that the side effects are getting worse. Maybe because the drug is accumulated in my body. Next time, I ask the doctor for some antihistaminic drugs.
