I went to a library today. Some of the libraries are open on Sundays. I took out a pile of interior magazines. I am having a hard time to picture my house.
I called and asked the sales rep if we could keep a dog in the house. Of course I checked the builder this question at first time we went to the sales office. But I just wanted to confirm with him. He said that the house I bought was a freehold one. That means I can do anything I want. I can keep a dog, I don't need to pay maintenance fee, but I have to control everything. If people buy a freehold property, purchasers will have complete ownership of the land and all the buildings on it. Or if you buy a leasehold property, the land is leased from the freeholder for a specific time.
