Birthday party for my daughter

This is the last year for my daughter at her elementary school. I was thinking we would have her nice birthday party for her. We can invite her friends. However, same as previous years, she started saying...that she didn't want to have her birthday party. I have been trying to ask her several times at different occasions. At the end, she said "I'm sorry Mom, but I am not interested in those things!!". At first, I thought that she might think of me. I thought she didn't want me to make any troubles, but that was wrong. She cannot be comfortable at her own birthday party. It is OK, I can do something else for her.
