ear piercing

My daughter asked me about ear piercing. Some girls in her class have already done it. Culturally, some parents have their daughters' ear pierced when they were babies. I thought she wanted to do. However, her idea was completely different. She asked me "Why did you do that?", "Are you crazy? It is so painful. I can't imagine that I will pierced my ears." And she said "What are you going to do if my daughter wants to do in her ear?" She worryed about her future child. She wants to say "No" when she will be a Mother. "How can I do, if my daughter will say "but Mom, Grandma is wearing pierced earrings all the time!!"" Yes, she is a that kind of girl.
