entranceway

I gradually get used to drive on the local road. And I got on a Highway at a driving lesson. However, I noticed another problem. Here in Toronto, there are a little signs at anyplace. For example, if we are at the station in Japan, we can see a lot of signs, like "XXX line this way", "next station XXX", "XXX north EXIT", "XX department store ->" or something like that. But here, sometimes it hard to find the next station on the sign, directions, or exit until you adjust yourself to the place. Those signs are very small and easy to miss. Let me get back to the situation on the road. When I go to somewhere, I probabry get the place. But hard to find where I can enter. Curbs are put around the periphery of the site. Most of entranceways have no signs, and they have just no curb. I have to make turns and turns around the site. I wonder why people can find the way so easily.
